There are many types of American standard flanged ball valves, including American standard high platform ball valve, American standard piece ball valve, American standard one-piece flanged ball valve, etc. Today we mainly introduce the installation and use of American standard one-piece flanged ball valve.
The first is the installation of the American standard one-piece flanged ball valve:
1. To determine its location first, it is required to be a place that is convenient for operation and maintenance.
2. Before installation, carefully check its nameplate identification, specifications, technical requirements and performance specifications to see if it meets the current conditions of use. If it does not meet the conditions, it must not be installed. Remove the dirt, rust, etc., and then install it.
3. When installing, strictly follow the steps in the manual for installation.
4. After installation, check from the beginning to the end whether it is completely completed safely.
Precautions for the use of American standard one-piece flanged ball valves:
Integral flanged ball valves cannot be used in environments that exceed pressure limits, where temperatures and pressures change frequently. When working at high temperatures, periodic maintenance can be performed, such as regular tightening of screws to prevent leaks and minimize thermal gradients. During use, it is regularly filled with sealing grease and soft packing to keep the equipment in good condition. The one-piece flanged ball valve requires the ball to be in the open or closed position all the time, so it is not suitable for adjustment. When it is not driven manually, the switch position of the ball valve should be consistent with the switch position and instructions of the control console to avoid misoperation.
